Here are my results and thoughts -
Day 1 - 3
I lost 1.3kg
I lost 2cm from my biceps and waist, 3cm from my thighs and 1cm from my calves.
I felt more energy and generally really good about myself.
Day 3-6
I lost a further 0.9kg
I gained 1cm on my biceps, 4cm on my waist, 0.5cm on my thighs and 1cm on my calves.
I was a disappointed at the gain in measurements but at least I was losing weight. I think I can easily put these measurements down to muscle gain and a bit of a bloat? Either way weight does fluctuate as discouraging as that is.
I still notice I'm feeling tighter, firmer and way less tired than normal. So that spurs me on.
Day 6-9
I stay the same weight.
1cm off biceps, 4cm off waist (phew!), 1cm off hips (hurrar!), 1.5cm off thighs.
Chest, and calves stay the same.
Overall I have lost 2.2kg in weight - that's just under 5lbs
2cm off my biceps
2cm from my waist
1cm from my hips
4cm from the thighs
Chest and calves remain the same - thank god.
That's a total reduction of 9cm - that's about 3.5"
My skin is firmer and my cellulite reduced significantly. But I would have liked to have lost more on my hips. I was really hoping to reduce my love handles. (I have got them honestly you just can't tell on the pics). Happy with my stomach and my thighs are definitely getting there. Just need to exercise them more.

I didn't miss alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, crisps, biscuits etc half as much as I thought I would.
Where I would go out for a coffee or pint with a friend I'd just sip on water in the same glass they had their drinks in. Where my colleagues were on a tea break, I'd have water in my mug. When my boyfriend cracked open a beer watching the eruos, I'd knock back a cold water bottle.
I didn't need to feel left out at all.
I had the odd moment but overall my willpower wasn't overly challenged and my arm can be easily twisted. Water and fruit snacks are a necessity though. It also helped that I had no social obligations that involved going for a meal.
There is no need to eat things you don't like at all. There will be some form of fruit and veg that you like from the low GI menu and there are so many food ideas out there for balanced meals under 600cal that really aren't so bad to eat.
Exercise wise my willpower was a bit more tested. But hey if I was exercising before hand I wouldn't be cleansing in the 1st place.
It was good to have a reason to get up and get moving.
I didn't need the gym, I didn't buy any fancy new equipment. I just went downstairs in my underwear put a youtube video on and got on with it. I didn't even know if I was doing it right but I was sweating and my heart was pumping that's all you need.
If the weather was ok I'd jog for a bit outside - I didn't have to go far or do it well, just around the block a few times. Get my heart racing and my breath struggling.
I'm not saying don't join a gym or club, but don't feel obligated to go out and buy a gym mat, clothes, weights, etc etc. if you are not going to become a gym bunny.
Ok the aloe vera gel was a bit of a mission. A few times I thought it would make me throw up. But it's only 4x a day for 2 days, then just once 1st thing in the morning and you are done with stuff! It also seems to get better with time.
It's also annoying finding the "snack" time for the fiber. But the fiber itself is quick, easy and non factor to have.
A tip with the water - 250ml = 1 glass approx. Have 2 500ml bottles of water have one to sip on keep one in the fridge. When you have finished re-fill it and swap the bottles over so you always have nice ice cold water to drink. Drink 4 x 500ml bottles of water over the course of the day and you are a winner! I was also told to put lemon/lime/cucumber in the water. But I never bothered except at the pub.
It also massively helped buying the item from a friend who works for the company. Yes she was there to sell a product and keep my custom, but she messaged me nearly every day to see how I was doing. Giving me tips and advice, keeping me motivated and positive. Asking my opinions and adding me into facebook support groups so I could talk to other people going through the same thing and get ideas for exercises and meals. It wasn't a world of exercise obsessed meatheads and health food junkies. No looking down at you because you can't run a mile in under 8 minutes, or eat a steak wrap instead of some super food laden lentil bean salad.
Ok so lets cut to it - is the cleanse worth doing?
It's £108 or there about for a 9 day cleanse that has everything you need near enough.
You will need (if you don't already) stock your fridge with fruit, veg and other low calorie allowed
food. So lets say it's £130 for 9 days. That's £14.44 a day. It's not cheap. Only you can decide if it is worth that much to you.
The plan is wonderfully laid out and the support is there if you need it.
You need to be dedicated and strong willed. If you are put off on the 1st sniff of the gel and go straight for having shakes then just do a shake diet.
If you can stick to it, you will lose. Depending on your body you might lose a little or a lot I don't know but I'm confident you will lose some.
Will you look like a bikini model? Maybe? But don't expect unrealistic results.
It's a 9 day cleanse that's designed to make you lose a few pounds, slim down your silhouette and want to continue a healthy lifestyle.
As you can see from my measurements and photos - it's not dramatic.
Whether you buy more forever living products or just carry on reducing your calories and increasing your exercise it is an excellent kick start if you stick with it.
Might be worth doing it over a quiet 9 days where you haven't got much going on.
Could you achieve these results without doing the cleanse? Probably, but maybe not as quickly? The reason you are reading this as I was reading other reviews and websites I was lazy and struggling to get the motivation. This will give you that. Whether I keep it up is another question entirely - I can have pizza now.
I think that's it! Thanks for coming on my journey with me.
Feel free to comment or ask me any questions!
Again I'm not here to sell forever living or any other product. It's not skin off my nose if you have it or not. I hope this helps give you an informed opinion.
P.S you might get spots. No diarrhoea though .. least not for me.
