I woke up an extra half hour earlier. I was kinda excited to start this project so getting up wasn't as hard as it normally is on a Monday morning.
7 AM
For day 1 I decide to skip the exercise, I wont be having nearly as many calories as usual and I have a pretty physical job load today.
Breakfast time.
2 x Soft gel tablets and 1 chalky vitamin tablet in easy labeled packets.
Go down easy with some water. Ok awesome.
Drink 120mls of the aloe vera gel with 250ml of water. Ok.
I mix the gel with 250mls of water.
I've heard the aloe vera gel is supposed to be pretty nasty. A few gulps in - it's not SO bad.
After taste. Oh yeah it's pretty bad. I try to down the rest as quickly as possible.
I've got to do that 4x daily??!
I make up my shake for Lunch 300mls of semi skimmed milk and scoop with the shaker provided. Pack an apple, some blueberries, cherries and grapes off I go!
11 AM
I have my "snack" a sachet of fiber mixed with some water. It doesn't say how much so I just guess a consistency and down it. Doesn't really taste of anything ... kinda smooth and vanilla like? Either way not unpleasant.
Not feeling any cravings for chocolate biscuits just yet.
My work colleagues are all drinking tea, I put water in my mug and pretend. To be fair it's not as awful as it seems. Maybe peer pressure will not get the better of me?
12 PM
Lunch time!
Oh no Aloe Vera time! Ok chugging 370mls of watered down aloe vera was not cool! So this time I measure out the 120mls (they do provide the measuring cup with the package), and I take that SOB down like a cheap tequila slammer. It takes me 2 gulps but it is gone! I then proceed to drink 250mls of water as quickly as possible.
Now I know I'm not supposed to be downing all these liquids. It leads to gas, gas leads to bloating. But I'm a bizzy person. I don't have time for sipping.
Tablets down and now time for the shake.
I went for the chocolate flavor and it tastes just fine. No it's not something you'd get from Ed's Diner but it is pleasant to drink.
4 PM
I feel hungry for the 1st time today. So I eat an apple. It does the trick.
5 PM
For dinner just the soft gel tablets, and you guess it aloe vera gel with 250mls of water.
Ugh dread.
7 PM
Cinema tonight (X-Men Apocalypse was AWESOME if you have been disappointed by the X-Men and Wolverine movies in the past this one makes up for it I promise!) so I had my evening "meal" a bit earlier.
Aloe Vera gel and water . Woo.
I take 4 Tesco snack packs of apple slices and red grapes from my free food list (they are small packs it's ok). Now I am feeling hungry - 2 packets are devoured during the trailers.
Also I'm very gassy (probably because I chug everything) my farts are like death. Luckily the cinema wasn't overly packed. My poor boyfriend had to crack the window on the way home.
I go to bed hungry but not hunger pains. This is do-able.
